The 16th edition of the Headies Awards, Nigeria’s leading music accolade, was held at the Cobbs Energy Centre in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, on Sunday, marking the second consecutive year of celebration of music and recognition.
The awards ceremony, hosted by Nollywood star Osas Ighodaro and Hollywood actor Terrence J, showed the outstanding achievements and talents within and outside the Nigerian music industry.
Since starting in 2006, the Headies Awards has been instrumental in highlighting and honoring the progress and creativity of Nigerian music.
The event began with a thrilling performance by ODUMODUBLVCK, setting the stage on fire with his hit song “Declan Rice.” Interestingly, the same track earned him an award for the Best Rap Single of the Year.
