Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rhor has officially signed new deal to remain as the national team head coach till 2020.
Rhor was appointed Super Eagles head coach in August 2016 and has since quided the Super Eagles to the 2018 FIFA World Cup which will be taking place in Russia in a remarkable fashion, winning four games and drawing one in a “tagged” group of death which had other African heavyweight Zambia, African Champions Cameroon,and Algeria.
He signed the new deal during the announcement of the NFF’s new partnership with Coca-Cola in Lagos on Wednesday.
The German Tactician has had an incredible run with the Super Eagles in twelve games recording seven wins, four draws and one loss.
Reacting to the news Nigeria Football Federation vice President Seyi Akinwummi says:
He has done a very good job and when someone does a good job, he gets a reward. We are proud to have taken Mr. Rohr on board and we are delighted to be signing this contract extension with him.
