The 50th birthday of Senior Prophet Jeremiah omoto fufeyin has attracted more blessings for 50 students as former Governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha pledges 50 scholarship to Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin Foundation.
The birthday of the popular Clergy who is the General Overseer of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministry, Warri, Delta state held yesterday, 15th February amidst fanfare and pomp.
The high-class society birthday had in attendance top shots in the traditional and entertainment industry, including prominent politicians, oil moguls and clergies. Among the list were, Governor of Delta Dr. Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, Senator James Manager Ebiwou Representing Delta South Senatorial District, Hon Asupa F, Member, Delta State House of Assembly; Hon Ekpotuayerin Pullah, Member of Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Amgbaduba, Commissioner of Technology Delta State.
Other were, HRH King Joseph Timiya of Ogulagha, kingdom in Burutu LGA Delta State, Former Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Peremobowei Ebebi, Mrs Patience Ozokwor aka Mama G, Ime Bishop aka Okon Lagos, Chinwe Owoh, Comdeian Gordons, Apkororo, Akproko, among others.
Speaking to newsmen at the birthday, Senator Rochas Okorocha who is representing Imo West Senatorial District emphasized that any organizations or Church that wants to grow should cultivate the act of giving as stated in the Holy Bible in Luke 6:38.
The Imo State former governor, in his message of admonition to the celebrator charged the Prophet not to relent in his humane gesture of giving and helping the needy especially through his foundation; the world will castigate him for showing off. He advised the clergy to turn a deaf ears to their non-chalant talk but should remain resilient and unwavering in his drive as the the reward for giving is backed with heavenly blessings.
Further, Sen. Okorocha called on the governors, Clergymen and well placed citizens in the society to inculcate the virtue of giving and looking out for the poor. He said, ”If there is a poor person around and they do not benefit from your riches your purpose of existence is useless.”
While describing the man of God, Sen. Okorocha said he was Godsent to this generation. He praised the man of God for the massive things via his Mercy TV.
Also speaking, the General Overseer of Liberation Ministry, Prophet Chris Okefor appreciated Snr Prophet fufeyin for his philanthropic gesture to humanity.
On his part, Elder Patrick Fufeyin who spoke on behalf of the family gave a gave a thunderous eulogy highlighting the achievements and accomplishments of the high-placed man of God.
In his message of gratitude, celebrator who could contain his joy appreciated the dignitaries and invitees at the birthday. He prayed heavenly blessings on them and wished them a safe journey back to their destinations.
