…as Nyanya Superintendent dedicates altar
Member representing Etinan/ Nsit Ibom /Nsit Ubium Federal Constituency, Mr Onofiok Luke has admonished Christians to make themselves available to raise an altar for God to attract heavenly blessings.
Luke gave the charge at the dedication of a brand new altar he built for Qua Iboe Church Nyanya Superintendent, Abuja at the Sunday service.
In his address to the congregation Luke said; “I thank God for using me as a blessing. God can decide to use any other person. It is a privilege for God to use you as a vessel to do something in his house.
So I thank God for the privilege to have participated in the building of this church since 2012 till it’s near completion today.”
“I call on all of us to join hands to complete this church and make it a befitting and functional Area Conference Headquarters.”
The Akwa Ibom lawmaker tasked the congregation to have an understanding of spiritual things. He said he made his support and personal donation to the building of International Worship Centre building by Governor Udom Emmanuel as a matter of his spiritual understanding about a year and a half ago.
He added that the altar will speak positively for Akwa Ibom someday.
He recalled how HE Obong Victor Attah gathered Akwa Ibom people to pray in the height of resource control imbroglio and God answered the people, and pour out a blessing of financial flow, which the state still enjoys today.
Recounting the Lesson learnt from his grandparents like building God an altar and also keeeping the sanctuary clean, he urged parents to train up their children in the way they should grow. He said it is the lessons he is giving to his children.
