…commends Gov. Udom, PDP and LGA Chairmen for improving on reward system.
The President of Hope For Udom Emmanuel Movement (Hofuem), Mr. Joel Augustine has extended message of felicitation to the new Supervising Councillors Designates, as they prepare to resume duty.
Mr. Augustine, who was full of gratitude to the Akwa Ibom State governor, Mr Udom Emmanuel, Peoples Democratic Party and the Local Government Chairmen on the calibre of appointees appointed to serve at the grassroot level, noted that the choices reflected that reward system has been upped.
The Uruan born political activist applauded the state Governor for keeping to his mandate of consolidating on the gains of youth inclusiveness and gender equality in the nomination of youths as Supervisors, noting that such decision further reflects that the Governor is a man of his words and the PDP is a party that rewards credibility not mediocrity.
He expressed optimism that with the capacity and dexterity of the newly appointed Supervising Councillors designate possess, the grassroot was in for a serious development.
Further, Augustine explained that when the system begins to reward credible loyalists, it will encourage others to do more and give them a sense of purpose while they serve the party and state.
While congratulating the appointees, the HOFUEM President prayed all those appointed to succeed exceedingly as the resume in their respective duty post at the local government level.
In his charge to them, Augustine maintained that politics is a call to service, stating that service was a gain for humanity; therefore the appointees should exhibit selflessness and virtue that will translates to the overall good of the people they’re called to serve.
He advised them to approach their duty conscientiously as the task saddled them required calculative steps and sense of responsibility on their parts.
Also, he prayed God’s protection and wisdom on them as they mount the saddle of grassroot administration.
