Brazilian Football Legend, Edson Arantes do Nascimento better known as Pele has lost the battle to cancer.
Pele died at 82 after battling cancer, reliable sources say.

Pelé was known for his skill, speed, and technical ability on the field, as well as his leadership and sportsmanship. He is the all-time leading goal scorer for Brazil’s national team, having scored a total of 77 goals in 92 appearances.
Pelé began his career with the Brazilian club Santos at the age of 15, and he quickly became one of the most promising young players in the country. He helped lead Santos to numerous championships and helped guide Brazil to three World Cup victories in 1958, 1962, and 1970.
Pelé was named the FIFA World Cup Best Young Player in 1958 and the FIFA World Cup Best Player in the World in 1970. He is the only player in history to have won three World Cup titles.
After retiring from professional soccer in 1977, Pelé became a global ambassador for the sport and has worked to promote soccer and its positive impact on people around the world.
