Saudi Pro League club, Al Hilal has set their sights on Napoli’s striker, Victor Osimhen, with a €140 million bid and a £1 million per week wages on the table, Sky Sports reports.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international was the top scorer in Serie A last season, helping Napoli secure the league title.
Despite his outstanding performances, contract negotiations with the Italian club have reached an impasse, leading to speculation about his future.
Reports have it that a meeting between Napoli and Osimhen’s agent failed to find a resolution on a contract extension, adding further fuel to transfer rumors.
It’s also reported that the club values Osimhen at a minimum of €150 million, signaling their determination to retain the star striker.
Club president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, had earlier revealed that there was a basic agreement for a two-year extension, but they were open to considering an irresistible offer.
Al Hilal, known for their ambitious approach to the transfer market, has been actively pursuing several high-profile players this summer.

The club successfully secured the services of Ruben Neves from Wolves, Kalidou Koulibaly from Chelsea, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio.
While some of their bids have borne fruit, they have also faced disappointments in their quest for marquee signings, including Lionel Messi and Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Sky Sports News chief reporter, Kaveh Soljekol, has weighed in on Al Hilal’s bid for Osimhen, and sources believe that Napoli is likely to reject the offer.
“Osimhen offer set to be turned down, he stated.
He further stated, “I think the offer is going to be turned down because Napoli have always said they want at least €150m for Osimhen.
“He’s in talks with Napoli about extending his contract but Napoli have made it clear that, if someone makes an offer they cannot refuse, then they are willing to sell him.
“Al Hilal are offering Osimhen something like £1m per week in wages and that would be tax-free.
“Al Hilal are a gift to football transfer reporters because they’ve been making bids left, right and centre. They made bids for Lionel Messi. They made a world-record bid for Kylian Mbappe. We were told they made a bid for Harry Kane. They were making bids for Aleksandar Mitrovic.
“They’ve been very active. Some of their deals have worked out but they’ve missed out on a lot of players as well.
“If they want Osimhen they’re going to have to offer a little bit more.”
