The autopsy carried out by the Lagos State Police Command on Ifeanyi confirmed that he died by drowning.
It was reported last week that the three years old drowned in the family pool and was rushed to the hospital at Lekki where the doctor confirmed him dead.
Eight of the domestic staffs who work for Davido had been arrested by the police, but six of them later released.
The nanny and cook were seen as principal suspects, and have since been in the police custody for their negligence that led to the boy’s death.
It was reported by the police that an autopsy will be carried out on young Adeleke to confirm the true cause of his death.

The public relations officer of the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hindeyin broke the news today on a media chat with correspondence.
“The autopsy confirmed that Ifeanyi died by drowning.
“On whether the two principal suspects will be charged in court, I don’t want to preempt that.
Investigation is still ongoing”, SP Benjamin Hundeyin told the correspondence.
The family is yet to make a statement concerning the whole event.
