The Premier League has released its fixtures for the 2024/25 season and is set to kick off with a weekend of football, featuring exciting matchups and debuts of new managers.
The action begins on Friday, August 16, with Manchester United hosting Fulham at Old Trafford in the first Friday Night Football of the season.
Erik ten Hag’s side will look to start strong against a competitive Fulham team, with kick-off scheduled for 8 pm.
Reigning champions, Manchester City, will begin their title defense on Sunday, August 18, against Chelsea.
This match marks the debut of Enzo Maresca as Chelsea’s new manager. The game is set to start at 4:30 pm, adding to a weekend packed with high-stakes football.
Earlier that Sunday, Crystal Palace will travel to Brentford, with the match kicking off at 2 pm. Both teams will aim to set a positive tone for their seasons in this London derby.
On Saturday, August 17, new West Ham boss Julen Lopetegui will begin his tenure with a home game against Aston Villa, starting at 5:30 pm.
Tottenham Hotspur will visit newly-promoted Leicester City on Monday, August 19, in the season’s first Monday Night Football.

Liverpool will kick off the new season without Jürgen Klopp.
The club’s new head coach, Arne Slot, will begin his era with a trip to Ipswich Town, who return to the Premier League after a 22-year absence.
This early game on Saturday, August 17, starts at 12:30 pm and will be a significant test for both Slot and Ipswich’s ambitions.
Saturday’s 3 pm fixtures include Arsenal hosting Wolves, Newcastle United facing newly-promoted Southampton, and Bournemouth traveling to Nottingham Forest.
Everton will take on Brighton, with 31-year-old head coach Fabian Hurzeler making history as the youngest permanent Premier League manager in his first game in charge.
Manchester United will also host Liverpool in the opening month, setting up an early season showdown between the two rivals.
Following September’s international break, Arsenal will face two challenging fixtures, first in a north London derby at Tottenham and then a trip to the champions, Manchester City, the following weekend.
The season’s traditional curtain-raiser, the Community Shield, is set for Saturday, August 10, while the FA Cup final will take place on the weekend before the Premier League’s final day on Saturday, May 17.
