Celine Dion’s sister, Claudette, has disclosed that their sister, Linda, has moved in to live with Celine, providing support and care during her challenging time as she battles Stiff Person Syndrome.
She revealed this in a recent interview with the prominent Canadian publication, Le Journal de Montréal.
Fans and the media have closely followed Dion’s battle with Stiff Person Syndrome since she first announced the diagnosis in December last year.
Dion’s Announcement
The 55-year-old Canadian icon had to cancel the remaining dates of her highly anticipated Courage World Tour in May due to the impact of the rare, incurable neurological condition on her ability to perform and lead her daily life.
In a statement shared on Twitter, the singer expressed her sincere apologies to fans for the tour cancellation, acknowledging the disappointment caused.
She stressed the importance of prioritizing her health and ensuring a full recovery before returning to the stage. “I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” Dion declared with determination.

The unfortunate cancellations have impacted the extensive European leg of her tour, which was set to cover 16 countries.
Dion originally planned to start the tour on August 26, 2023, in Amsterdam, and end it on October 4, 2023, in Helsinki.
She expected to resume the tour on March 6, 2024, in Prague, and the grand finale was planned for April 22, 2024, in London.
The “Courage World Tour” originally commenced in 2019, captivating audiences worldwide.
Claudette Seeks Guidance
Claudette spoke about how Celine Dion is actively seeking guidance from top researchers in the field of Stiff Person Syndrome.
Despite her struggles with finding effective medicine for the condition, she remains resilient and hopeful. “I honestly think that she needs to rest. She always goes above and beyond; she always tries to be the best and top of her game,” Claudette shared.
Claudette further shared that sometimes you receive important messages from your body and heart that you should not ignore.
“At one point, your heart and your body are trying to tell you something. It’s important to listen to it,” she stated.
