Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen has won the F1 Italian Grand Prix.
Max won the F1 Grand Prix followed by Leclerc who emerged 2nd and Russel 3rd.
After Charles Leclerc took pole during qualification, there was believe in the Ferrari camp that he would stop Max Verstappen from having five consecutive wins but that wasn’t the case.
Max showed his driving abilities again by winning at Monza.
Max who started 7th on the grid after a five place penalty during the qualification proved yet again that there was no stopping him. His dominant performance was no match for Charles Leclerc who could only have a second place finish.
George Russel of Mercedes started second behind Leclerc but ended the race on a podium by finishing third.

Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton, finished the race 4th and 5th place consecutively after grid penalties were handed to them. They both started at the back of the grid in the race
Before the start of the race, there was a minute’s silence to honour Queen Elizabeth II after she passed.
Max Verstappen could clinch his second title if he wins the next race at the Singapore Grand Prix and Charles Leclerc retires in the race.
The Singapore GP is scheduled to take place on October 2, 2022.
