Kendrick Lamar has stirred up some buzz with his latest verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s album “We Don’t Trust You,” where he seemingly takes shots at fellow rappers Drake and J. Cole.
In his verse on the track “Like That,” which starts around the 2:19 mark, Lamar raps, “Yeah, get up with me, f**k sneak dissing/’First Person Shooter,’ I hope they came with three switches.”
He further adds, “Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Motherfuck the Big 3, n***a, it’s just big me.”
Lamar concludes his verse with a reference to Drake’s previous album, with the line “‘fore all your dogs gettin’ buried, that’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary.”

The reference to “First Person Shooter” likely alludes to Drake and J. Cole’s collaboration on the song of the same name from Cole’s 2023 album “For All the Dogs,” where the two artists playfully debated their status in the rap game.
Drake and J. Cole have a longstanding friendship and have collaborated on multiple tracks over the years.
However, tensions seem to be rising as Lamar’s verse suggests underlying conflicts between the artists.
While Cole has previously hinted at the possibility of a joint project with Kendrick Lamar, he recently indicated that the idea was scrapped due to the need for more time and commitment to create something truly impactful.
