Mason Greenwood, the Manchester United Football Club player might get dumped from the squad, The Sun report suggest.
Greenwood has been battling with the club to stage a comeback after a messy domestic violence report with girlfriend, Harriet Robson who accused him of beating her.
Recall the Man U forward was arrested and charged for attempted rape and assault in October 2022.
In reaction to the allegations, Manchester United had in a statement in January 2022 suspended the star from training and playing matches till further notice.
Also, on February 2023 the suspended player had all charges against him dropped by Crown Prosecution Service.

However, Manchester had stated that despite the charges dropped against Greenwood, it will still conduct its process before determining the star’s fate.
Meanwhile, a recent report from The Athletic disclosed that Richard Arnold, the CEO of Manchester United, had communicated to the staff that Mason Greenwood will be making his return to the team.
The announcement was made approximately two weeks ago suggest that Richard Arnold had made a proposal to create a video that spotlight Greenwood’s reintegration into the men’s senior squad.
This video was intended to be shared with both the employees of the club and the general public.
However, early report from The Sun revealed that Manchester United is likely to reverse its stance on Mason Greenwood and exclude him from their squad.
Factsreporter Nigeria learnt the club’s decision to reinstate the player into the squad has stirred furious backlash from both supporters and staff members who allegedly threatened to strike or quit if Greenwood is allowed back into the pitch.
The conflict between the management’s decision and the staff’s sentiments has cast a shadow over the club’s stability.
The club is yet to make any statement in regards to the recent development.
