National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has arrested Ugochukwu, a drug dealer, in one of his mansion located at Victoria Garden City, Lekki, Lagos.
The NDLEA discovered over Thirteen Million pills of 225mg Tramadol valued at over Eight Billion (N8,000,000,000) at one of his unused mansions he uses as a warehouse.
Ugochukwu, Chairman of Autonation Motors Ltd and a native of Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State has been on the Agency’s radar for a long time.
His arrest came barely two months after Chris Emeka Nzewi, a drug kingpin along side his Chemist, Sunday Ukah was arrested by NDLEA upon discovering a Methamphetamine laboratory in his house.
According to the NDLEA Chairman, Brig. Gen. Mohammed Buba Marwa, “I’ll like to reassure Nigerians and other stakeholders wherever they are located across the country and beyond our preparedness to work with them on this onerous task of saving our people from the drug scourge.
“This partnership is a further warning to the drug barons and cartels that there is no hiding place for them anywhere, because we remain on their trail and we’ll always get them”.
