Veteran Nollywood actor, Nkem Owoh better known as Osuofia has lost his daughter.
News of the death of Mr Owoh’s daughter, Kosisochukwu Nkem-Owoh was shared online by a family member.
Reports online disclosed that Miss Nkem, the 24-year-old had allegedly battled liver cancer, but unfortunately succumbed to the illness in June, leaving behind a community of grieving friends, and family.
Kosisochukwu’s passing has cast a shadow over the Nollywood community, as her father Nkem Owoh has graced screens with his humourous performances for decades.
The family in a statement on Friday announced that the 24year old will be laid to rest in her hometown in Enugu State.

The statement revealed that the final farewell to their beloved daughter will take place on August 24.
The statement reads, “The family of Nkem Owoh (Osuofiasn) of Umunevo Owonta of Umungwu clan in Amagu village, Udi town, Udi local government, Enugu State, regrets to announce the tragic loss of our cherished daughter. The memory of her vibrant spirit will forever remain in our hearts. As we prepare to bid her a tearful farewell, we invite all who knew her to join us in commemorating her life and the happiness she brought into our lives.”
The news of the veteran actor’s daughter’s death has elicited an outpour of condolences and support from fellow actors, industry professionals, and fans alike on social media.
