Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, is currently mourning the loss of his 16-year-old son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, who passed away on Tuesday after reportedly collapsing and being rushed to the hospital.
According to sources who spoke to Vanguard, Kambilichukwu had spent the entire night before his death studying for an exam.
He then joined his friends for a game of football before suddenly experiencing a seizure.
He was quickly taken to the hospital but sadly could not be saved.
The news of Kambilichukwu’s sudden and untimely passing has shocked many of Yul’s fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry, who have taken to social media to offer their condolences to the actor and his family.
Yul Edochie, who is known for his roles in Nollywood movies such as “Wind of Glory” and “The Royal Madness”, has yet to release an official statement on his son’s passing.

However, sources close to the actor have confirmed that he is deeply saddened by the loss of his son.
Just two months ago, Yul and his first wife, May, celebrated Kambilichukwu’s 16th birthday, with the actor taking to Instagram to share a heartfelt message to his son.
“My first son just turned 16. Happy birthday to you Kambi Leo Yul-Edochie. Many more great years I wish you with loads of accomplishments and greatness. May God be with you always. Daddy loves you,” he wrote on Instagram.
The sudden loss of Kambilichukwu has left many in the entertainment industry in shock and has once again highlighted the fragility of life.
Well wishers have since taken to social media to their extend their prayers and best wishes to Yul Edochie and his family during this difficult time.
