President Muhammadu Buhari is set to bestow the 2022 national honour on Okonjo-Iweala, and 436 others.
The late Chief of Staff to the president, Abba Kyari, Grammy Award superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy, and Senate President, Ahmad Lawan made the list to receive the honours.
This year’s honour featured five recipients for Grand Commander of the Niger, 54 recipients for the Commander of the Federal Republic, 67 recipients for Commander of the order of the Niger.
It also include 64 recipients for officer of the order of the Federal Republic, 101 recipients for Officer of the order of the Niger.
Still on the list, 75 recipients for Member of the order of the Federal Republic, 56 recipients for Member of the order of the Niger, eight recipients for Federal Republic Medal.
The recipients for GCON include; Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Senator Ahmad Lawan, Hon. Justice Ibrahim Tanko, among others.
The recipients for CFR include; Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, Mallam Abba Kyari (posthumous), Oba of Benin, among others.
The CON list include; Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma, Prof. Attahiru Jega, and others.
The recipients for OFR include; Catholic Archbishop of Abuja, Ignatius Kaigama, Retired judge, Justice Muktar Mohammed Dodo, ICPC Chairman, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye, among others.
The recipients for OON include; Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, Femi Adesina, Nigerian Bar Association President, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, Flutterwave CEO, Iyinoluwa Aboyeji, among others.
The recipients for MFR include;
Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu (Burna Boy), former Ambassador, Prince (Col) Roland Olawumi, among others.
The recipients for the MON include; Innocent ‘2face’ Idibia, Teni Apata (Teni), and others.
Security guard, Ogbanago Muhammed Ibrahim and Cleaner, Ms. Josephine Usman, who found and returned large sums of money made the FRM list.
The 2022 national honour ceremony is scheduled to take place at the State House, Abuja on October 11.
