Department of State Services (DSS) has invited the recently suspended Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, for questioning as part of an ongoing investigation.
Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya PhD fsi, in a press release signed for the Department State Service, revealed this on Wednesday.
This invitation comes shortly after President Bola Tinubu’s decision to suspend Bawa indefinitely, citing the need for a thorough inquiry into his conduct during his tenure at the EFCC.
According to Afunanya, Mr. Bawa arrived at the DSS headquarters earlier today in response to the summons.

The DSS Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, confirmed the invitation and clarified that it pertains to specific investigative activities concerning the suspended EFCC Chairman.
