President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday had a meeting with the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors at the Council Chamber in Abuja where he discussed a wide range of issues.
President Tinubu highlighted the challenges inherited from his predecessor, President Muhammadu Buhari.
President Tinubu acknowledged the assets and liabilities inherited from the previous administration, stressing that it was crucial to face these challenges head-on.
He assured the governors that his administration had not removed any budgetary allocations or misused funds.
President Tinubu emphasized the need for unity, collaboration, and proactive decision-making to address the nation’s pressing concerns.
During the meeting, President Tinubu expressed his commitment to the Nigerian project, emphasizing that the focus should be on the well-being of the country and its citizens rather than individual interests.
In a show of transparency, he clarified that he had no personal involvement in the petroleum industry and had no intention of pursuing such endeavors.
