President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has forwarded the Ministerial Nominees list to the Senate for confirmation.
The list, read on the floor of the Senate by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, includes notable figures such as former Governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, Nasir El Rufai of Kaduna State, and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State.
Aside from the former governors, the list also features prominent individuals like Presidential spokesman Dele Alake, acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Abubakar Kyari, and Senior Advocate of Nigeria Lateef Fagbemi.
The ministerial list, dated July 27, 2023, and titled ‘Request For Confirmation Of Ministerial-Nominees,’ comprises 28 nominees.

Other ministerial nominees are expected to be sent to the Senate in due course, according to Senate President Akpabio.
